Basic Obedience for dogs 5 mos. and older.
Service Description
Class Requirements: For dogs at least 5 months old. Learn the fundamentals of owning a well-mannered pet. Heel on leash, sit, stand, recall, sit/down stay, as well as tips on general healthcare, good grooming and public manners. All work is done on leash. Class meets once weekly for 10 weeks. Minimum 8 students required to run class, maximum is 12 students. * NO DOGS are to be brought to the FIRST WEEK class. First week of class is MANDATORY attendance, and will meet for 90 minutes, and includes orientation and instructional lecture. PROOF of VACCINES, provided as a printed veterinarian office's record copy, MUST BE SUBMITTED the night of orientation. Required vaccines that must be up to date: Distemper/Parvo and Rabies. Bordetella is not required but highly recommended. Flea Prevention should be given monthly. Equipment: dogs need 6’ dog leash, a long line or Flexi lead, a buckle collar plus training collar (if using one), favorite toy and soft treats.
