BRING DOG TO FIRST CLASS Limit 8 student/handlers and their dogs. BEYOND THE BACKYARD is a dynamic, laid-back class designed for handlers and dogs who are looking for fun activities outside the living room. This course introduces you and your dog to basic agility, intermediate and advanced tricks, advanced obedience, and engaging dog-themed activities. Through positive reinforcement, this class builds confidence and strengthens your bond with your canine companion. *This is a recreational class focused on family pet training and is not intended for competitive sports preparation, though the class directly supports earning your American Kennel Club (AKC) titles for Trick Dog Novice (TKN) to Elite Performer (TKE).* Class Details & Prerequisites Target Audience: Club Members only Prerequisites: Basic Obedience 2 | Dog must be 1+ years old | CGC recommended Policies: Standard Tri Cities Dog Training Club (TCDTC) policies apply Leash Status: Primarily off-leash. While we use leashes for transitions, the majority of trick and activity practice is done off-leash.
